Kickwaxing
Climbing is the "high school", because here the smallest mistake can lead to the ski not functioning properly (no grip or cleat).
There are three basic things to consider when waxing up: Durability (the binding of the wax to the base), climb (the snow crystals must be able to penetrate the wax) and ride (the wax must release the snow crystals). Those who find an appropriate compromise for these three factors are on the safe side. You should not be afraid to combine and/or cover soft waxes for more climbing with hard waxes in difficult conditions.
