For new and newly fallen fine-grained snow from 2°C to -1°C (36°F to 30°F). Old/partially converted snow from -1°C to -4°C (34°F to 25°F). Purple-red kick wax works very well on damp new snow and shiny tracks. Also works on older, slightly transformed snow a few degrees below freezing. VP65 is recommended for tricky conditions around freezing.
The wax contains a new additive that provides maximum lubricity. This improves the stick-slip properties of the wax and gives an excellent feel.
Apply each coat thinly - then smooth the surface with a synthetic cork (T12). If you apply the wax when it is cold, this will make it easier to apply.
The VP line is primarily intended for racers and ambitious non-racers, but can also be used by recreational skiers who want the best skiing experience.
